Greek Mythology with Diana Stelin’s Art

Fall 2025

In our engaging and imaginative Greek Mythology Art Curriculum, students will explore legendary stories through a variety of hands-on artistic techniques. From sculpting Eros and Daphne in three dimensions to bringing the elemental forces of Gaia and Uranus to life in watercolor, each project is designed to spark creativity and deepen understanding of classical myths. Students will work with pastels to capture the drama of Cronos and Dionysus, experiment with fabric mosaics and watercolor to depict powerful figures like Poseidon, Medusa, and Perseus, and use pencil, pen, and ink to design their own mythical creatures and patterns. This immersive program combines storytelling, fine art techniques, and cultural history to inspire both artistic expression and a love of ancient mythology.
